Salmon Of The River

Some talk with a custom bike builder "hint hint" who has done some work on these great trails sparked me to get back over there. This was my third maybe fourth trip down there and I had two hours to wander them woods. It was pretty hot today in the high 80's but felt pretty normal as I am getting use to being completely soaked after a ride. Brought the SS to do some work and got cranking right after a short pedal on the rail trail. Legs were nice and willing to do work as we consistently climbed up my normal uphill route. Mosquitos were terrorizing me at every chance they got. Arrived at the top and decided to venture and really pay more attention to trails I was taking. This led me to repeat some trails as I navigated my way down. I can say I am still hazy on navigating every trail at this joint but I do have more of a threshold on it. Really awesome ride that left me needing to come back for more. One day I would like to loop Salmon River to Day Pond just across the valley for a beastly tag team.
