Not much going on over here, just lots of time with the boy and itching for a ride. Thursday night was almost a go but I don't think it will happen......Ohh December where are you. The dawg got it's wheels off since I had to repair a freehub and since that was a 60$ job I decided to spend an extra 50$ and just get a new wheelset! Funny thing, my Kona came with sun rims when it rolled out of the bike shop in 2003 in my hands, hard to believe this bike has been with me for 10 years. Well anyway turns out they were selling the exact same brand and model wheelset for $110 at Jensonusa.com so I know I am getting a good bang for my buck. I think I may sell the Dawg this upcoming summer since I will likely be short on space for moving already 3 bikes across the country. The suspension is showing it's wear and I can not justify putting 500-800 into new fork and rear shock. I wish I could but I don't think it's in the cards. Might treat a young kid well getting into the sport for $100. For now I need to keep it in my line up since my Tanuki is in a box in Utah awaiting my arrival. I love that old bike, still rides awesome.
