Peace and Joy
With some 40 miles to my goal and burned out on the regular trails, I found some time on Saturday to make a go out at Gold Canyon. I forget just how nice it is out there, it use to be on my regular rotation but cell service and distance are an issue while the boy is in school so that's my reasoning. A very cool Saturday would have me happily heading into Gold's in a different mood I had on that was positive. Feel fresh mind and body, it was a much better experience, I went over to Phantom and enjoyed it thorough, I had some other ideas but I was pleased with my loop. Next time I will throw in more tech.

Wonky but moving
Another beautiful day and wanting to ride but never quite felt it on this ride, it was another mile after mile push to stay out there, was thinking 30 but my ambition faded and I was more than happy with 20. So much less people, I enjoyed that the best!
Tuesday , to the comfy zone
Tuesday was not much to say there, I wanted to go home after 10 miles but just kept at it, I somehow made it to 34 miles, my tire was leaking and luckily only once had to stop to pump it up, turns out a little hole Stans didn't feel like filling. I was overdue for a new tire so it went on that night. Wow 74 miles in two rides, and with that I put myself out of the danger zone for my goal and into the comfy zone.
Monday Start
I had another big week ahead of me to grow closer to my goal. I somehow need up at San Tan which was frigging bumping, not feeling the love for my fellow trail users, while most pleasant there only a few where for some reason where I get a look of distaste. It was a boring 30 miles round there and I was glad when it was over, I had plenty in the tank but a bit bored of the trails and hikers.
The Boys ride
Me and the kiddo headed out on a cool Sunday evening to break up the evening, it was quite stunning out and with a breeze we were a little under dressed. It has been awhile since we been out there and tried to talk Landon into a little trail by the hill but he wanted the playground and that was just fine. Then after he wants to go back to the car but I insisted we at least take a loop around. I caught him resting his chin on the bars in boredom, I think the trailer biking might have lost it's excitement for him,the good news is his new bike is big enough and had gears so he should be pedaling on his own power. It was great to be out there with him.

BONUS!
With 100 miles on the bike by Thursday I was looking for a bonus ride for Friday or Saturday. Fortunately for me it came on early Saturday morning. With surprisingly fresh legs I took the cool desert by 5:30am and rode into the long dark morning. At one point a coyote took to following me, pretty creepy experience with all the rabies talk with the foxes around the valley. Not sure what he was up to as he came at me from the side and then followed me down the trail. Another easy 20 miles and a solid 120 mile week!
Hot laps on a numb butt
I was definitely wanting to ride Hawes but the miles were just too easy to conquer at usery. I expected the mile to be more bland, but I went with the mission of laps, 4 8 mile laps to be exact and then the last 3 miles were freestyle. Still plenty busy as Usery not as bad as Thanksgiving week, saw many more than once, miles were long but came after 3 hours riding and 35 miles knocked off the mission clock!

Whipping
Well here we go, Monday and these legs are ready for duty, with the goal getting fuzzy I am still encouraged to ride my face off to try it. Usery is super easy riding and somewhat enjoyable so why not just ride for as much time as I can. Lately I started to shoot for 2 hours and go home and enjoy lunch and show before picking up Landon but now I got to crunch miles. Set the gaol for 100 or more miles this week. Good way to start of off putting down 35, tomorrow plan is 30 and that's a good start!
Radziller
With he plan for near 100 miles I found myself at 60 miles by Friday, my son got sick and missed some school and other things in the lineup. I got out while Landon went for his class on Friday, I was feeling a bit speedy even on my one gear, it was a good fast spin. Was going for a ride Saturday and family ride Sunday but neither was able to happen. Fell short big time on miles that I really needed, but onwards to see if I can still make it happen.
Good ride, good company
Wednesday night me and my homie Ryan got all geared up to do a night ride, it turned out my light decided not to turn on. Really confused and a bit bummed we had to go home. As I might have said my backup light brakes has broke and my backup backup light was loaned out. After I got home I plugged it into Ryans charger and it went red signaling charging. Thinking it was the cable or battery after 5 minutes it powered on blue meaning full charge which I knew! The problem lies in the battery, it hiccuped or is on it's way out, let hope a hiccup. Thursday night we went back out and armed with backups we did ride! This ride felt great and good company.

300 to go!
Git it done
With an hour to ride, I happily rolled into Usery on decent legs, nothing fancy here just a git r done as with most
Double Dipper
Woot Woot
December is almost here, another year and man do I love the temperatures right now, on this day it was nice and cloudy, I hit San Tan reluctantly but found it to not be too busy. I had 20 in mind and got it done just fine, I am within reach of my 3,000 mile goal, but have to put down 300 more miles in the month of december, I know I can do it, just have to find the time.
