Park City
Fall break has begun, after a few hours of sleep me and the gear and the dog headed for Utah, the family wasn't to arrive until 8pm so whe I got into town I had lots of time and that meant to one of my favorite spots to blow off some steam. There are alot of great options in Park City and I was looking for something different and least amount of driving time. Turns out I hit the jackpot! I started at the Jordanelle chairlift base, lots of building going on there. It was a nice smooth beauitful climb on fresh trail called rinse cycle, not sure how new but maybe a year old. This was happy climbing for my SS, almost too easy. The maples were at the end of their dropping and littered the trail in red hot leaves it was awesome. I hit mid mountain and continued my climbing into Deer Valley where I was greeted by full sun and glistening aspens, it was absolute magic. I played around in there a bit, worried about time I made my way back to Spin cycle which was a blast! Twisty, flowy greatness, I couldn't believe how great it was, I rode it maybe 10 years ago. Then I climbed back up rinse cycle to try Rory of the mountain trail, which was a flowy jump trail, my goodness it was so fun it gave spin cycle a run for it's money! Fully complete after 25 miles I could have rode into the next day but I best get by booty down the hill to not be late for BBQ and pickup the fmaily off their plane.
