Prescott Flow Show

I have not been in Prescott in a year, wanted to all year but time....... So I arrived with the plan to ride Badger to Ranch and the into goGoldwater area and back. It was a chilly start around 32F and no light yet, I took pavement over to the ranch trailhead and by the time I got there I could see the trail. I have never ridden this direction and the comfortable pitch of the badger climb was just what I needed, a fast uphill warmed me up and was doing ti quickly as the sun began to rise but not offer it's rays and a low psi tire that was getting worse. As I made it to ranch the trail got really fun, swoopy twisty pines and no sign of winter besides naked trees! Warmed up good now and headed to Goldwater it almost felt like the first time despite have ridden this trail 2 times years ago. Goldwater things opened up and the trail was very smooth. I rode upper feldmeir which was awesome, then lower and then to the lot where I hoped to find a pump. I did not so the hand pump I went and then my return trip via goldwater. Immediately my bike was soooooo muh faster wish I did that hours ago...... Goldwater was better than i remember, I guess I usually take the lake side trail..... The long climb was cozy and great views and really enjoyable. I dropped down the ranch trail for a speedy DH drop and loved every bit of it! This was absolute blast of an XC route, almost too easy technically.
