Sedona XC

It was time to get out of town for a ride! I casually put sedona in my sights the night before, I need to plan better btw, and early in the morning off I went! The plan was west sedona XC. It was about 34F when I arrived and waitied a few minutes for enough light to not use lights. The backdrop of Sedona from the trailhead was quite the sight, especially as sunrise begun. The fingers froze up pretty good for awhile as I dropped down the trail and questioned my glove choice but I was in Sedona! The plan was a perimeter loop that would have me on Girdner, chuck wagon, mescal, aerie, outer limits. All a fantastic mix of Easy Sedona. As I was pedaling along I coulnd't help but miss Hiline. I was glad this loop had mescal in it to enjoy a litlte rock riding. However it was nice to plug the miles and enjoy the scenery. Once I closed out the loop I had a litlte extra time so I went over the other side of the road and dropped into scorpion which was quite fun, but had to pay the price on the return and up old post which sucked, when I got to skywalker it got better and the ride was done! Moab and Sedona in the same week!
